Further to Marzouq and El Wehbi’s posts on the Bugatti Veyron’s crash, here is the salvage operation.
What is surprising is that the airbags did not go on impact…

Bicycles
Posted by akbara | Filed under Uncategorized
I always wondered why do car manufacturers have their own brand of bikes too? Is it marketing? Easy money (dont think so), brand publicity? The likes of Mercedes, Ferrari having their very own line of bicycles makes me wonder…But again some of these brands have their laptops too! Like the Acer Ferrari series! Think these are for mere publicity and royality.

Floods everywhere
Posted by akbara | Filed under Uncategorized

If you see the news today, many parts of the world are flooded or under some sort of a natural calamity. This makes you think if we humans have outgrown our shoes and really altered the dynamics of mother nature? It is payback time but the real culprits, if they are still aline, who made this happen may not even be aware of their immoral irresponsibility that lead to the climate changes and global warming.

This movie is due to release on November 13th. Its a movie based on the old predictions that the world will end in 2012 on the 21st of December. There are mass suicides of the cult that the believe this. And it happens. Graphics are close to reality and there is enough evidence that this movie will keep you on the edge of your seats.

360 mall
Posted by akbara | Filed under Uncategorized
The 360 degree mall is good but the parking was full and the mall is not even fully open yet. Think its going to be a disaster when all the shops are open and the mall is ready to go.
The GOOD thing is, Dlush is offering free refill within the same day! Another good is the iMAX. The vertical garden is innovative but I am not sure why its being claimed as the tallest/largest vertical garden? It looks pretty basic to me and some of the plants are already drying/dying on there. I liked the fishes, although just wait until those poor fish ponds are filled with junk/food by ‘merciful’ visitors! The ambience is okay, liked the wooden arches bit just as you enter the food court. The colorful suspended art like flowers is okay but not typically awe-inspiring. The security guards, especially the ones near iMax and food court were hyper as if there was something bound to happen very soon, they were gazing at almost every youngster, if looks could speak, they were literally pushing the passers by to do something so that they could react!
The exit is lousy especially, the roundabout that takes you to the airport/kuwait city exit as both parking and exit traffic have to use the same route out. That is a big problem.
